The story of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for MacBook is set on Koholint Island. There your character Link is stranded after his ship is caught up in some sort of storm. A girl called Marin is the one who rescued him. Then your character embarks on a quest in order to collect the eight instruments of the Sirens and awaken Koholint’s legendary Wind Fish and escape the island. You get to traverse an open world with dungeons scattered throughout. Also there are puzzle-solving sections and boss fights you can get involved in.
In this remake game, your character’s sword, shield and upgrades are equipped permanently. This allows more items to be equipped to action buttons in comparison to the old game. We have to say many minigames received updates as well. While progressing in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, rooms from completed dungeons can be collected as pieces. Then you can use them to reassemble your own dungeons by visiting the non-player character called Dampé.
